Ready, set, slide!
Switzerland is full of ski resorts and runways—but that’s not all! In recent years, other winter sports like tobogganing have become wildly popular among both young and old. Cheaper than skiing and more fun than snowshoeing, sledding is the perfect activity for a great time with family, friends, or colleagues. With more and more toboggan runs appearing across the country, we’ve put together a selection of the most beautiful tracks just for you:

Widely regarded by enthusiasts as one of the most beautiful sledding runs in French-speaking Switzerland, this descent promises thrills—whether with family or friends. The track alternates between wide snowy boulevards, hairpin turns, and forested sections. For much of the ride, you’ll enjoy stunning views over the Rhône Valley.

You can reach the run via lifts from Fiesch; return from Lax is via shuttle bus or the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn. Sleds are available at sports shops in Fiesch or at Fiescheralp.
